Therapeutic indications
Acute and chronic allergic conjunctivitis and kerato-conjunctivitis. Spring conjunctivitis.
Dosage and method of use
Adults and children Instill in the conjunctival sac of each eye, pulling the lower eyelid slightly downwards and looking upwards, one drop of Naaxia eye drops solution 4 times a day. In seasonal forms, in order to obtain a good therapeutic outcome, it is recommended to start therapy a few days before the onset of symptoms and continue treatment for the entire period established by the doctor, even in the absence of symptoms. For single use only Method of administration The patient should be instructed to : • wash their hands thoroughly before and after instillation, • avoid touching the eye or eyelids with the tip of the container, • use the eye drops solution immediately after first opening the single-dose container and discard the single-dose after use.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of Naaxia eye drops, solution in single-dose containers.
Side effects
Naaxia eye drops solution, occasionally, can give rise to hypersensitivity phenomena. Possible transient burning or stinging after instillation.
Special warnings
Repeated use of the product can give rise to hypersensitivity phenomena. After the first opening of the vial, the residual product must not be reused. TO BE USED ONLY ONE TIME. Keep out of the reach of children .
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Studies in animals did not reveal any toxic effects exerted by spaglumic acid, sodium salt, in pregnancy and on the product of conception. As with all drugs, it is advisable, during the first trimester of pregnancy, as well as during breastfeeding, to limit their use to cases of actual need and under the direct supervision of the doctor.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 ° C.
Interactions with other drugs
No particular interactions or incompatibilities with other drugs are known at the moment. In case of simultaneous treatment with other eye drops, wait 15 minutes between one instillation and the next.
Overdose
An overdose by ocular instillation is unlikely because any excess solution would be rapidly expelled from the conjunctival sac. There is no risk of undesirable effects due to accidental oral ingestion of Naaxia eye drops solution, as even the intake of the contents of an entire pack (0.4 ml x 30) contains a quantity of the active ingredient well below the doses capable of producing toxic effects.
Active principles
1 ml of eye drops, solution contains: Active ingredient: N-acetylaspartyl-glutamic acid (sodium salt) 49 mg (or spaglumic acid). For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.
