Elmex Junior toothpaste for children aged 6 to 12, specially designed for the specific needs during the change of teething. New permanent teeth, which begin to emerge around the age of six, are particularly prone to tooth decay as the tooth enamel is initially still porous and relatively soft. A higher concentration of fluoride promotes the hardening process of the teeth, thus increasing the resistance of the teeth to acid attack and the consequent risk of caries. Thanks to the specific characteristics of the amine fluorides contained in the toothpaste, protection from caries is ensured even for several hours after brushing the teeth. The mild taste stimulates children to switch from children's toothpaste, with a lower fluoride content, to a product with an age-appropriate fluoride concentration.
