Blefox 50 ml Foam for Eyelid and Eyelash Hygiene

A gentle foam specifically formulated for the topical treatment of eyelids and eyelashes, it effectively removes both fatty and dry eyelid secretions, cellular debris (such as bacteria and demodex), and other contaminants that can be released during inflammatory conditions such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis and can worsen the inflammation itself. These secretions are also associated with bacterial growth along the eyelid margins and at the base of the eyelashes, facilitated by the production of an adhesive biofilm. The resulting inflammation can also affect the glands that produce the lipid component of the tear film, the meibomian glands, resulting in dry eyes due to increased tear evaporation.
BlefOX may also be useful in the treatment of eyelids and eyelashes before and after eye surgery.
BlefOX contains LipozonEye (liposomal ozonized oil), freeze-dried Aloe vera gel, Eugenia caryophyllus essential oil which help clean, moisturize and refresh the eyelids, and soothe the irritation symptoms due to inflammatory processes.
Given its peculiar composition, BlefOX:
- It is useful for preventing and/or improving the symptoms of eye conditions such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis, also allowing for better lubrication of the ocular surface. Liposomal ozonated oil promotes the breakdown of bacterial biofilm on the eyelids and eyelashes and reduces the bacteria's ability to form new biofilm.
- helps to counteract bacterial proliferation in the eyelids and to unblock the excretory ducts of the sebaceous glands of the eyelids in the case of styes or chalazions,
- can help reduce the risk of infections due to bacteria present on the eyelids and eyelashes, before and after ophthalmic surgery, and during blepharitis.
BlefOX can be used in both adults and children.
The foam contains no perfume and can be easily applied to the eyelids and eyelashes.

LipozonEye 10%; freeze-dried aloe vera gel 30%; Eugenia caryophyllus essential oil 0.01%; cocamidopropyl betaine 3.50%; propanediol 4%; disodium cocoyl glutamate 1%; hydroxyacetophenone 0.50%; sodium cocoyl glutamate 0.25%; o-cymen-5-ol 0.1%; purified water to 100%.

Wash your hands thoroughly before using BlefOX.
Press the dispenser to dispense the foam onto the cotton pad provided, a clean gauze pad, or your fingertips. For use before and after surgery, the foam should be applied to a disposable gauze pad. Close your eyes and massage the foam into your eyelids.
Do not open your eyes during application.
Leave the foam on for about 1 minute and repeat the application 2-3 times a day, for a period of at least 7 days.
After each application, rinse eyelids and eyelashes with warm water.
Repeat the same steps for the other eye.

Wash your hands thoroughly before using the product. Remove contact lenses before use. Keep your eyes closed during application. The product is intended for the external periocular area (eyelids and eyelashes). Do not apply the product directly to the eyes. If the product accidentally comes into contact with your eyes, rinse with plenty of water. Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately, rinse your eyes, and contact a doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date.

Store in a dry place, at a temperature between 8°C and 25°C, away from light and heat sources.
