Indicated for the eradication and / or dissolution of the wax plug in the external auditory canal. Depending on the processing time, Biogreen Oto Spray is able to dissolve or soften the earwax plug, facilitating its extraction by the specialist doctor.
Biogreen Oto Spray is suitable for outpatient use by the general practitioner or specialist for the removal of the earwax plug. Thanks to its easy application method, Biogreen Oto Spray can be used independently by the patient for the dissolution of the earwax plug or as a preparatory treatment for the removal of the plug by the doctor.
Biogreen Oto Spray is useful, in addition to dissolving and / or removing, also as a preventive treatment to the formation of the earwax plug in patients predisposed or with excessive earwax production, for wearers of ear prostheses or for those who practice water sports.
The use of the product is recommended:
if you are in the presence of a wax plug;
if you want to maintain a correct physio-functionality of the External Auditory Duct;
for the prevention in subjects who practice water sports;
for the prevention in subjects with a predisposition for excessive earwax production;
for prosthesis wearers.

How to use
Place the head, with an inclination of about 35/40 °, towards the side opposite the ear to be treated. If the patient is at home, use a cushion and / or the armrest of the sofa, rest the head taking care to position the auricle to be treated parallel to the support. Shake the dispenser vial of the Biogreen Oto Spray. Remove the cover from the dispensing spout. Practice 2 to 3 compressions on the pump to allow it to fill. Place the dispensing nozzle close to the external ear canal. Deliver 8/10 sprays (about 1 ml) into the ear, wait about 5/10 seconds and then exert a slight downward traction on the lobe of the affected ear, alternating with medium compression on the tragus.
This operation is recommended to allow the Biogreen Oto Spray solution to reach all parts of the ear canal.
Immediately repeat the dispensing of another 8/10 sprays, without eliminating the previously introduced solution. It is advisable to massage the tragus, even if not continuously, while waiting for the dissolution process. Finally, wash thoroughly after waiting for 45 minutes, using a pump of ductile material, with lukewarm water, preparing the inclination of the head and ear for the release of the dissolved ear wax.
It is advisable to repeat the treatment with only 8/10 sprays of Biogreen Oto Spray in the following 2/3 days, leaving the product to act for only 10 minutes and then proceed with washing. This operation, which is not essential, is recommended for a safe and more accurate cleaning and sanitation of the treated duct. Disinfect, clean and carefully close the dispensing spout with its case after use.
Biogreen Oto Spray can be used by the specialist doctor as a preparatory treatment for the extraction of the earwax plug. Dispense 8/10 sprays of Biogreen Oto Spray into the external auditory canal and leave to act for about 15 minutes. Proceed to remove the cap by suction.
For a valid prevention it is sufficient to dispense 4 sprays per ear (morning and evening) for three / four consecutive days, repeating the application in the following months according to medical opinion.
In case of hearing aids: remove the hearing aids; deliver the Biogreen Oto Spray into the ear canal; once the external ear canal is completely dry, reapply the prosthesis.
The product can be used until expiry if the cleaning and storage procedures have been perfectly carried out.
It is advisable to warm the Biogreen Oto Spray solution in order to avoid sensory discomfort in particularly sensitive subjects.

In patients with "pre-existing tympanic lesion", before using Biogreen Oto Spray consult and follow the advice of the specialist doctor. In cases where the earwax plug is decidedly encapsulated by strips of exfoliated epidermis, the Biogreen Oto Spray solution, not carrying out keratolytic activity, is not able to act on the earwax but only favor its extirpation by acting on the connections of the walls. This operation must be carried out only and only by the specialist doctor. The presence of possible “whitish particles” present in the dissolved earwax liquid is represented by exfoliated skin lamellae, devoid of vitality, which are almost always found in the elements that make up the earwax plug. Their presence indicates the physiological and non-harmful behavior of the Biogreen Oto Spray solution towards the epithelium of the external auricular duct. Do not use the product in patients with ear diseases (otitis). Do not use the product in patients with otorrhea. Do not use in the presence of bleeding of the ear canal.
There are no known side effects or interactions with other drugs following topical application of Biogreen Oto Spray.
