HEMOSTATIC SWAB

Indications:
for nasal and skin bleeding, of adults and children, once applied to the wound, it is able to stop the bleeding in a few seconds.

Features:
exploits the haemostatic power of calcium alginate, an extract of seaweed present in the form of insoluble crystalline fibers.
Alginate in dressings offers important peculiarities, such as the ability to:
- quickly stop bleeding, favoring the aggregation of platelets and reducing the clotting time, following the release of calcium particles that are exchanged with the sodium particles of the exudate;
- quickly heal wounds, favoring the defense against microorganisms and reducing the risks of any dermatological complications;
- calming the sensation of pain, gelling in contact with the blood, creating a moist environment favorable to scarring and adhering to the area to be treated in adequate and never excessive quantities.
Each pack contains five disposable swabs.
