Description
Food supplement based on potassium and magnesium citrate.
It is of particular help in subjects subjected to an intense loss of fluids, such as strong sweating, diuresis or diarrhea, or in patients receiving drugs such as diuretics, laxatives or cortisones.

How to use
We recommend taking 2 tablets a day, unless otherwise indicated by a doctor.
LITHOS should preferably be taken on a full stomach, taking the tablet with a little water.
For different indications (prevention of kidney stones) follow the medical prescription.

Warnings
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Keep out of the reach of children under 3 years of age.
Supplements are not intended as a substitute for a varied diet.
LITHOS is contraindicated in patients with hyperkalaemia or hypermagnesemia, or with conditions that may predispose to the appearance of such plasma alterations. These conditions include chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus.
The simultaneous intake of LITHOS and potassium-sparing drugs (triamterene, spironolactone, amiloride) could cause hyperkalaemia. It is therefore advisable to monitor the progress of kalaemia.
There are no known interactions with other drugs.
Rarely, mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as abdominal heaviness, nausea and occasionally diarrhea may develop during treatment. The tablet pack may be particularly suitable for these subjects.
