Therapeutic indications
Inflammations and small skin infections. Furunculosis (pimples), abscesses and superficial skin ulcerations. Inflammation of the sweat glands (hidradenitis).
Dosage and method of use
Apply the ointment, in the quantity necessary in relation to the area to be treated, 2–3 times a day, covering with a gauze.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Side effects

Insufficient data are available to establish the frequency of the individual effects listed. Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders Dermatitis, burning, skin irritation, hypersensitivity reactions
Special warnings
Do not apply near the eyes and on mucous membranes. Avoid exposure to the sun and UVA rays after application. The use, especially if prolonged, of medicines for local use can give rise to phenomena of irritation or sensitization. If this occurs, discontinue treatment.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
In the absence of specific studies, the medicine should be used during pregnancy and lactation only in case of need and under direct medical supervision.
Expiration and retention
Keep the container tightly closed in the original package protected from light.
Interactions with other drugs
No specific interaction studies have been performed.
Overdose
If used in excessive quantities it can be irritating to the skin and mucous membranes.

100 g of ointment contain Active ingredient: ammonium sulphichthyolate 10 g. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.
