Therapeutic indications
Traditional herbal medicine indicated for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with stress, such as fatigue, exhaustion and mild anxiety. The use of this traditional medicinal product of plant origin, for the indicated therapeutic indications, is based exclusively on the experience of many years of use.
Dosage and method of use
Dosage . Adults: The recommended dose is 2 tablets per day. The maximum duration of treatment is 14 days. If symptoms persist contact your doctor. Pediatric population: The safety and efficacy of VITANGO in children and adolescents aged less than 18 years have not yet been established (see section 4.4). Method of administration : VITANGO should be taken with a glass of water, preferably 30 minutes before food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1 Renal or hepatic impairment.
Side effects
Hypersensitivity reactions and hypoglycaemia have been reported. Reporting of suspected adverse reactions. Reporting of suspected adverse reactions that occur after authorization of the medicine is important, as it allows continuous monitoring of the benefit / risk ratio of the medicine. Healthcare professionals are asked to report any suspected adverse reactions via the national reporting system at www.aifa.gov.it/content/segnalazioni-reazioni-avverse.
Special warnings
Patients suffering from mood disorders should undergo appropriate treatment. Use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age is not recommended.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established. Administration of VITANGO during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
Expiration and retention
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Interactions with other drugs
Avoid concomitant use of other products containing alcohol or affecting the central nervous system. Rhodiola rosea extracts are potential inhibitors of the CYP450 enzyme, drug interactions may occur.
Overdose
No cases of overdose have been reported.
Active principles
One film-coated tablet contains: Active ingredient: 200 mg of extract (as dry extract) of Rhodiola rosea L., rhizoma et radix (Rhodiola rhizome and root) (1.5 - 5: 1) (WS 1375). Extraction solvent: 67.7% (v / v) ethanol. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.
Excipients
Microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, precipitated silica, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, stearic acid, red iron oxide E172, titanium dioxide E171, antifoam emulsion.
