100 g of solution contain: dichlorophene 1 g; pyrethrum extract with 25% of pyrethrins 1 g; piperonyl butoxide 2.5 g.
Indications
For the treatment of ear mite infestations of pets (dogs, cats).
Contraindications
Before using the veterinary medicinal product, carefully examine the inside of the pinna and ear canal. If you have serious injuries or if your animal is known to have a perforated eardrum, consult your veterinarian. Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
Dosage
For headset use. Drop 2 to 10 drops of this drug into the pinna of the ear, depending on the size of the animal, equal to approximately dichlorophene 0.41 mg / kg pa, piperonyl butoxide 1.04 mg / kg pa, pyrethrins 0.1 mg / Kg pa The inside of the auricle must be uniformly greased with the drug. Both ears should be treated, even if only one ear appears to be affected. A light massage on the outside at the base of the ear helps loosen the ear wax. Remove as much wax as possible with cotton and suitable tools. Finally, lightly grease the inside of the ear with a few drops of this medicine. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. Repeat after a few days if necessary. If signs of disease persist, consult your veterinarian. The dichlorophen if ingested in quantities higher than 100 mg / kg can induce nausea, vomiting, gastro-intestinal colic and diarrhea.
