Therapeutic indications
Topical therapy of stomatitis of bacterial origin.
Dosage and method of use
Posology Let 1 tablet dissolve slowly in the mouth every ½ - 1 hour. Continue the treatment for two or more days. Do not exceed the daily dosage of 10 tablets.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients listed in section 6.1.
Side effects
Since thyrotricin is poorly absorbed by the mucous membranes, the chances of allergic reactions are reduced. Rarely, blackening of the tongue, glossitis, sensitization reactions may occur. Special warnings
The use, especially if prolonged, of the product can give rise to sensitization phenomena. In this case it is necessary to interrupt the treatment and institute an adequate therapy: similar treatment must be observed in the event of the development of infections from non-sensitive germs. Pediatric population In very early childhood, the product should be administered in cases of real need, under the direct supervision of the doctor. PHARINGOTRICIN contains glucose, lactose and sucrose. Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
In pregnant and lactating women, the product should be administered in cases of real need, under direct medical supervision.
Expiration and retention
This medicine does not require any special storage conditions.
Interactions with other drugs
There are no known interactions with other medicines.
Overdose
There are no known overdose phenomena as the poor absorption of thyrotricin through the mucous membranes reduces the possibility of toxic phenomena at the recommended doses.
Active principles
One orodispersible tablet contains: 2.5 mg thyrotricin. Excipients with known effects: glucose 20 mg, lactose 275 mg and sucrose 467 mg. For the full list of excipients, see section 6.1.
