NON-ADHESIVE HYDROCELLULAR DRESSING FOR TRACHEOSTOMY

Indications:
dressing for the care of tracheostomized patients.

How to use:
cleanse the wound according to normal procedures. Prepare and clean the skin around the endotracheal cannula by removing excess moisture.
If necessary, the dressing can be cut.
Apply around the stoma or endotracheal cannula. Make sure that the white honeycomb (non-stick) side is applied towards the patient's neck.
During the early stages of treatment, the tracheostomy should be inspected frequently. The dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days or until exudate is visible and comes within 1.5 cm of the dressing edge.
Remove the fixation device and lift the dressing from the skin.
Do not disinfect with sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide solutions.
