Therapeutic indications

Adjuvant in the therapy of toxinfectious states, sequelae of hepatitis and hepatic functional deficit. Hypodisvitaminosis during therapy with antibiotics, chemotherapy and anticancer drugs. Anemic syndromes secondary to Vitamin B deficiency₁₂and folic acid also during pregnancy, puerperium and breastfeeding. Convalescences. In pediatrics it can be used in anemic states, especially if accompanied by anorexia and insufficient growth.

Dosage and method of use

Dosage. Adults: one or two vials per day, in the opinion of the doctor. Children: proportionally reduced doses, in the opinion of the doctor.How to use: Remove the ring nut and press on the upper piston causing the contents of the tank cap to fall into the solution below. Shake for a few minutes until the powder dissolves. The contents of the vial can thus be swallowed as such or further diluted, as desired, with water or other liquids.

Contraindications

Known individual hypersensitivity to one or more components.

Side effects

The preparation has shown a very good tolerability both on a gastrointestinal and general level. No noteworthy side effects have been reported. The possibility of gastric intolerance is very rare.Reporting of suspected adverse reactions. Special warnings

There is no risk of addiction, dependence or anything else. Although this product contains cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B₁₂) cannot replace cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B₁₂) administered parenterally in the treatment of pernicious anemia. If your doctor has told you that you have a sugar intolerance, contact him before taking Tonogen Vitaminico.Important information about some of the ingredients.Tonogen Vitaminico contains sucrose: Patients with rare hereditary problems of fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, or sucrase isomaltase insufficiency should not take this medicine. It can be bad for your teeth.Tonogen Vitaminico contains p-hydroxybenzoates: Tonogen Vitaminico contains methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, can cause allergic reactions (even delayed).Tonogen Vitaminico contains sodium: Tonogen Vitaminico contains less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per 6 ml vial, i.e. essentially 'sodium-free'.Tonogen Vitaminico contains ethanol: This medicine contains 27 mg of alcohol (ethanol, contained in fluid artichoke extract, fluid extract of bitter orange) per 6 ml vial. This amount is equivalent to less than 1ml of beer or 1ml of wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine will not have any noticeable effects.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Use during pregnancy and lactation is a precise indication of the preparation.

Expiry and retention

The preparation must be stored “in the ordinary ambient conditions” foreseen by the FU IX Ed.

Interactions with other drugs

They have not been reported in the literature or detected in clinical practice.

Overdose

No manifestations of overdose intoxication have been observed in humans so far. In case of accidental ingestion of Vitamin Tonogen in doses highly superior to the therapeutic ones, it is suggested to implement the normal medical measures recommended in the intoxication pathology.

Active principles

Each 6 ml vial contains in solution Active ingredients: - Nicotinamide 10 mg; - Riboflavin-5'-phosphate sodium salt 6.1 mg; - Thiamine hydrochloride 5 mg. Excipients with known effects: sucrose, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate, ethanol. Each tank cap contains Active ingredients: - Cyanocobalamin (Vit. B₁₂) 1 mg; - Calcium folinate hydrate 0.5 mg.
